Valencia, World Design Capital in 2022

Valencia, World Design Capital in 2022

No one doubts that Valencia is an ideal candidate to become World Design Capital in 2022. And finally, thanks to the support of several public and private entities, as well as political parties, the movement to present a solid candidacy to the World Design Organization has become a reality.

Ana Yago, on behalf of Sanserif.es, will be in charge of representing the studio at the conference for the validation of the challenges of the candidacy for the World Design Capital that will be held between 18 and 25 February, in various landmark spaces of the city.

The Aula Magna of La Nau at the Universitat de València, Las Naves library, the didactic room of the Valencian Museum of the Enlightenment and Modernity, the classroom of The Convent del Carmen and the room of the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea will be the venues for meetings with regards to the relationship between design and education, urban development, sustainability and social inclusion, among other aspects.

Sanserif.es is a benchmark in the development of inanition projects of sustainable materials and processes and in the inclusion of Special Employment Centres in the productive and formative chains so we will be delighted to participate in this initiative.

There are only two years left before the dream of Valencia, becoming World Design Capital, comes true.
