We have always enjoyed working with artisans since their enterprising nature matches our way of conceiving the creation of objects of desire. This cutlery collection arose from a collaboration with goldsmith atelier Peris Roca Orfebres and, although at the time it was a project with no commercial viability, now it is an example of what can be achieved when you mix good wishes with a desire for innovation and looking for new paths.
The 45º collection became a reality -thanks to Elisa Peris’ expertise and good work- following the atelier’s anniversary, 100 years of history for this essential artisan brand in Valencia. The collection was an attempt to capture the city’s urban design in a cutlery set which follows the city’s pattern by combining different materials as well as elegant and simple shapes.
Today, as we look at them, we are still thinking about how they could be made accessible for true design lovers. All things come to those who wait.
