The design of the piece draws reference from conventional textiles. The lamp measures 1.5 meters in diameter and has a weight of less than 4kg. The structure of the luminaire is made of reclaimed corrugated cardboard.

Canesu blends with the existing surroundings, thereby refraining from hampering the aesthetics of the area it is installed. It also allows easy assembling and disassembling. The lamp is powered by LED lights which contribute to its sustainability by helping it run with lower energy usage. More at WIDN.
