Icograda: To provide guidance to entrepreneurs and designers on how to improve the efficacy of their products and their communication.

Articulado is a not-for-profit publication published in 2009 for ADCV & IMPIVA with the sole intention of providing guidance to entrepreneurs and designers on how to improve the efficacy of their products and their communication. Given that we live in a globalised society, the authors looked for ideas and solutions in various countries and from design-related disciplines.

The participants include over 60 design creatives and studios from 14 countries, ranging from the United States to Turkey, Holland and Armenia.

The publication features opinions and reflections from leading international names in design, such as Erwan Bouroullec, Ana Yago, Karim Rashid and Milton Glaser, and other experts like Alice Rawsthorn and Covadonga Pendones, exploring the relationship between design, the environment and the economy.

The publication was conceived to transmit values like sustainable growth, recycling, low impact production processes, etc. and was printed in one colour on ecological paper without varnishes or special treatments. The final result is a Portable book-product.

2000 copies were printed and are available for purchase. An free, online version is available at: www.articulado.org

The initiative was coordinated by José A. Giménez, with the support of ADCV and Impiva.  Graphic design: Ana Yago. Full credits on www.articulado.org More info in Icograda.
